Obsidian Gathering and Hammerdown Presents Grief Ritual with support from Scaleraker, Dead Flesh and Pallid Mask Grief Ritual: GRIEF RITUAL are a metal band, whose sound fuses metallic hardcore, blackened post-metal, and the crushing, slower sides of death metal. Formed in 2023, they are known for their unrelenting heaviness, punishing riffs, and crushing breakdowns. Debut album 'Collapse' was released on Church Road Records and Deathwish in 2025, receiving critical acclaim from Revolver, Brooklyn Vegan, Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Knotfest, BBC Radio 1, Ghost Cult, and Idioteq. GRIEF RITUAL have caught the attention of many with their incendiary live performances, making appearances at Bloodstock, 2000 Trees (twice), ArcTanGent, Incineration Festival, Burn It Down, and Tech Fest. They have also supported Knocked Loose, Terror, Gatecreeper, END, Fuming Mouth, Wiegedood, and toured the UK with Heriot, Heavy//Hitter, Party Cannon, Burner, and Underdark. Most recently taking in twelve dates with Nekrogoblikon on their 'Show Me Your Goblin' UK and Ireland tour. Scaleraker: Scaleraker strip metallic hardcore down to its ugliest, most calculated essentials. Emerging from Hull, the four-piece weaponize an abrasive wall of noise, balancing frantic, breakneck velocity with suffocating weight. Driven by gut-wrenching vocals and sheer sonic friction, Scaleraker’s identity is built on unfiltered catharsis—unforgiving, precise, and entirely volatile. Dead Flesh: Dead Flesh are a quickly growing UK deathcore act renowned for presenting a stunning high energy performance that has seen the band tour throughout the UK.
